RETURN TO 
EARTH; A FRACTION OF THE UNIVERSE
In this photo from Space you can see only about 40% of Planet Earth. As you probably know, the diameter of Earth at the Equator is about 8,000 miles.
In this view you are looking at the most populated areas of the Earth. India is front and center in this photo. India is also home to the Hindu religion, the 3rd largest religious group in the world, with the majority living in India. Just give this some thought as you peruse this page about Atheism, and the Christian belief that only Christians will enter into a life after death--Heaven. That in itself is an oxymoron.

REGARDING THIS PAGE
This page is a direct response to the religious music and chimes that are broadcast eight times per day throughout the small town of Springfield, SC. (pop. 504) The total broadcast time is one hour per day. The sounds can be heard very clearly for more than one half mile. This contemptible intrusion into the lives of Springfield citizens has been brought to the attention of Town officials and the churches more than eighteen months ago, to no resolution. As an Atheist, I find it disgusting that I cannot sit on my deck, or be in my yard without being forced to listen to religious sounds.
This page is intended to educate the reader about Atheism. Atheism is NOT a religion, and in fact is not a belief at all. Atheists are logical thinking people who do not find any reason or scientific evidence to support any religious belief. Religions are nothing more, and nothing less than MYTHS.
Anyone wishing to become educated about the myths of religion can certainly find sufficient information provided in the links on this page. If the reader does not desire to become educated, then that is fine with me; however, I do not wish to listen to religious words or sounds that are nothing more than imaginings that have been ingrained into the minds of the majority of humans since their birth.
