On this page you will read my opinions on
subjects about the weather, local events, and even my thoughts on
happenings around the globe. I will also have opinions about space
exploration. Politics; certainly, I will not hesitate to put
my spin on subjects that we should all be concerned about, from dependence
on foreign oil, the war in Iraq, global warming, Social Security, taxation
and the population growth.
You might disagree with me on many
subjects. However, I make it a point to know what is going on
in the world with issues that have a probability of affecting my life,
therefore, I firmly believe I offer logical viewpoints. I tend to be
controversial, not because my ideas are without merit, but because I
frequently criticize the self-righteous status quo.
Of course, readers will have opinions
that differ strongly from mine. I expect that. However,
readers must remember that I have no more power to change things than
they do. Fortunately, in America we disagree quite a bit.
That is why we have a place called the voting booth. In many
countries disagreement frequently ends in bloodshed, and to a limited
degree in America--a deplorable, negative response to disagreement.
If you have an opinion you would like to express, send it to me
and I will publish it, if you wish, exactly as you write it, unless
it is slanderous, threatening or contains inappropriate language.
